| |
| 1.
A Quality Environment for Patient Care |
All
facilities accredited by the American
Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory
Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) are designed
and built to provide the best possible
setting for surgery and patient care.
Accredited surgery facilities are rigorously
inspected and evaluated. A set of exacting
standards must be met which assure the
patient of a commitment to safety and
the efficiency of the facility and equipment. |
| |
| 2.
A Model of Excellence in Surgical Care. |
| |
| 3.
Plastic Surgery Performed by a Trained and
Skilled Surgeon. |
| |
| 4.
Assistance of Certified Personnel. |
|
General
anesthesia is provided by a board-certified
anesthesiologist or a licensed nurse anesthetist.
Other personnel assisting in the surgery
or caring for the patient in the recovery
room include specially trained surgical
technicians, registered nurses. Together
the staff members comprise a team that
operates the facility smoothly and efficiently
- before, during, and after your surgery.

| 5.
A Facility Designed Especially for Plastic
Surgery. |
| |
| 6.
State-of-the-Art Equipment and Technology.
|
| |
| 7.
Substantial Cost Savings
|
Recent
studies have shown that cost to a patient
in a single-specialty facility, such as
an accredited plastic surgery facility,
is only one-third to one-half those charged
by a hospital for the same procedure.
And because the patient is not hospitalized,
there are additional significant savings
over hospital in-patient care. |
