Dr. Zandi has been practicing as a cosmetic surgeon in the San Francisco Bay
Area for over three decades. He was
certified by the American Board of Plastic
Surgery in 1977 and has since performed
more than over 21,000 cosmetic surgeries in the
greater San Jose region, including breast
surgery, liposuction, and facelifts.
His philosophy of patient care is simple: every patient deserves a positive
outcome. Dr. Zandi takes the extra time
and effort necessary to achieve it.
For Dr. Zandi, there are no shortcuts
worth taking when it comes to something as
important as your body.
“Whom would you send your loved ones
to?" This question was
put to the country's most respected
physicians, and their responses were compiled in “The Best Doctors in America."
Dr. Zandi was proud to be included in this
national directory. He was also listed in
San Francisco Magazine as one

Dr. Zandi's interest in cosmetic surgery
began in medical school, where the
difficult curriculum and competitive
environment did not deter his growing
determination to become a surgeon. After
7 years in premed and medical school,
Dr. Zandi completed an internship at
Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey in
1967. It was followed by a 5 year
residency in general surgery at Long
Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
He then completed a 2 year residency in
plastic surgery at Allentown Hospital in
Allentown, Pennsylvania. Throughout the
many years of his education and
practice, Dr. Zandi's commitment to his
vocation has been unwavering.
An active member of his professional
circle, Dr. Zandi has delivered many
lectures at medical conferences and
authored numerous articles in plastic
surgery journals. A number of these
reports covered innovative plastic
surgery techniques that had never
previously appeared in medical
publications.
Although Dr. Zandi is primarily a Bay
Area cosmetic surgeon, he was given the
1986 "Friend of the Year" award by the
city of Fremont for performing
reconstructive surgeries on children
in Mexico. He was also recognized by the
city of Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
Dr. Zandi performs the majority of his
operations at his private,
state-of-the-art, accredited cosmetic
surgery center in the Bay Area. His
patients come from all over the greater
San Francisco Bay Area, including San
Jose, San Francisco, Saratoga, Palo
Alto, Santa Cruz, and Oakland.
